MARYVILLE, Mo. - Despite Mother Nature this week, hundreds of people in Nodaway County got their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine to combat COVID-19.
According to an email from Nate Blackford, the President of Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville, 700 people got their first dose on Tuesday.
He adds that while 2,500 individuals have signed up through the Nodaway County Health Department, the health department is pausing sign ups at the moment.
The health department says that they're moving to a new scheduling system, but will resume taking names once that transition is complete.
